PUR control and power cable, PUR-YELLOW-OB 2x2.5 mm² yellow, color-coded cores 22215
Robust PUR cable for industrial applications
This flexible cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed for demanding working conditions where resistance to abrasion, oils and chemicals is essential. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, the oil and coal sectors, and on construction sites. The cable is perfect for powering portable industrial equipment and anywhere it is exposed to aggressive substances.
The cable has a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and is made of stranded copper conductors, which ensures high flexibility even at low temperatures. The conductor insulation is made of PVC, and the outer PUR coating guarantees long-lasting protection against mechanical and chemical damage. The conductors are color-coded for easy identification.
Construction and properties
The cable construction has been carefully designed for maximum durability and functionality:
- Conductors: Stranded, twisted copper – provide good conductivity and flexibility.
- Insulation: Special PVC TI2 – resistant to abrasion and chemicals.
- Braid: Internal PVC braid facilitates removal of the outer jacket during installation.
- Outer jacket: Polyurethane (PUR) – provides high resistance to abrasion, oils, greases, weather conditions and UV radiation.
- Color: Yellow (RAL 1021) – facilitates identification in the installation.
Thanks to the materials used, the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). It is also resistant to radiation up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
Technical parameters and compliance with standards
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 and has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 3000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for stationary laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.2 mm.
