PUR spiral cable, PUR-SPIKA 5x0.25 mm² black, 500mm 85664
Flexible spiral cable for specialized applications
This black PUR-SPIKA cable, 500 mm long, is a reliable solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical factors. Made of polyurethane (PUR), this cable is particularly useful in situations where standard cabling fails – in mobile devices, lifting systems, or the entertainment industry. Its construction allows it to be stretched up to 2000 mm, making it easy to adapt to specific installation needs.
Construction and properties
The PUR-SPIKA cable consists of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², insulated with TPE-E. The conductors are twisted in layers, ensuring their strength and resistance to damage. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane coating that protects against external factors. The rated voltage is 500 V, making it suitable for a wide range of low-voltage applications. Importantly, the cable is flame retardant.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds application in many industries:
- Lifts: The flexibility and durability of the cable make it ideal for powering devices in lifts.
- Entertainment industry devices: Resistance to bending and stretching guarantees reliable operation in dynamic conditions.
- Medical devices: Safety and reliability are key in medicine – this cable meets these requirements.
- Measuring instruments: Provides a stable connection and minimizes signal interference.
- Revolving doors: Allows doors to move freely without the risk of cable damage.
- Low-voltage installations: Universal use in various devices and electrical systems.
Additionally, the availability of sections with different spiral lengths (up to 5 m) and axial versions increases the flexibility of using this product. The final straight sections, 200 mm long, facilitate connection to devices. The cable retains its properties in a wide temperature range from -25°C to +70°C.
