Spiral cable PUR, PUR-SPIKA 2x0.5 mm² black, 500mm 85728
Universal spiral cable for specialized applications
This black PUR-SPIKA cable, 500 mm long and with a cross-section of 2x0.5 mm², is a reliable solution in situations requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. This cable is designed for a wide range of applications, from mobile devices to industrial installations. Construction using high-quality materials ensures long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties
The PUR-SPIKA cable is characterized by a solid construction. Its copper conductors, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228, guarantee good electrical conductivity. TPE-E insulation provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, and the outer PUR jacket protects the cable from the influence of chemicals and weather conditions. Twisted strands provide flexibility and facilitate cable routing in tight spaces. The cable has an elongation ratio of 1:4, meaning it can be stretched to four times its length without losing its electrical properties. Importantly, there are straight sections of 200 mm length at each end of the cable, making it easier to connect to devices.
Applications and benefits
The PUR-SPIKA cable is perfect for demanding applications such as:
- Lifts: The cable's flexibility and durability ensure safe power supply to devices in lifts.
- Entertainment industry equipment: Resistance to mechanical damage and external factors guarantees reliable operation of stage equipment.
- Medical devices: Safety and reliability of the cable are crucial in medical applications.
- Measuring instruments: The cable's flexibility makes it easy to route measuring leads in various configurations.
- Revolving doors: Resistance to bending and stretching ensures long-term operation of cables in revolving doors.
- Low-voltage installations: The versatility of the cable allows its use in a wide range of electrical installations.
This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, and its rated voltage is 500V (for a cross-section of 0.25 mm²) or 300V (for a cross-section of up to 0.14 mm²). The test voltage is 1000V. Axial versions and spiral sections up to 5 meters in length before stretching are also available.
