This shielded 350 V cable, designated S.TR-C-PVC 10x0.14, is designed for demanding applications in cable carriers. Its exceptional flexibility and durability make it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable solution in mechanical engineering, robotics, and moving parts of equipment.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction ensuring long life and resistance to mechanical damage. Made of 10 copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.14 mm², insulated with special PVC TI2, it provides safe and efficient power transmission. Twisted parallel strands with an optimal twist pitch and wrapped with a textile tape minimize the risk of damage during dynamic movements. In addition, a tinned copper screen (approx. 85% coverage) effectively reduces electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in modern industrial installations. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation.

Parameters and application

The cable meets DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards and is designed to operate at temperatures from -5°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary), with the possibility of short-term operation up to +105°C. Its rated voltage is 350 V, and the test voltage is 1500 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. Thanks to this, the cable works perfectly in applications requiring frequent bending and movements, such as transport systems, robotics, or construction machinery. The cable is metered for easy installation and waste minimization. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.6 mm.
