Power cable for inverters and controllers
This grey PVC cable, with a cross-section of 120 mm², is designed for demanding applications in power supply systems, especially in connection with inverters, frequency converters and DC motors. Its construction and materials ensure reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.
Construction and properties
The TOPFLEX® 600-PVC 4G120 mm² cable stands out with its solid construction. Four copper cores of flexibility class 5 (stranded) are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cores are marked with numbers, in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-334, which facilitates identification during assembly. Additionally, the cable has a shielding braid that minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating in grey (RAL 7001), resistant to oils and chemicals.
Applications and benefits
This cable is used in both fixed and flexible installations, in dry, damp and wet rooms. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C (fixed) and -15°C to +80°C (flexible), making it suitable for operation in harsh conditions. Thanks to the rated voltage of 1000 V, it is suitable for higher power systems. The special design of the cable makes it ideal for connecting controlled motors and frequency converters – it provides a stable power supply even with frequent load changes. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1 regarding fire resistance.
