Flexible cable for frequency inverters
This double-shielded 1kV cable, designated 2YSLCYK-J TF-EMV-UV-3PLUS, is specifically designed for use in frequency inverters. Its construction provides high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions. The cable is ideal for flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur, as well as for installation in dry, humid and outdoor environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that minimizes interference and ensures stable signal transmission. It consists of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, insulated with polyethylene (XLPE). The cores are arranged symmetrically (3+3PE), which improves EMC properties compared to traditional four-core cables. In addition, the cable has double shielding – an aluminum tape and a copper braid – providing effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is made of polyolefin, which guarantees resistance to UV radiation and long-term operation. The PE protective conductor is divided into three parts and laid externally for increased safety.
This cable also stands out for its low working capacitance and coupling resistance, which translates into high electromagnetic compatibility. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. The outer diameter of the cable is 14 mm, and the permissible operating temperature is -40°C to +70°C for stationary installations and -5°C to +70°C for mobile installations.
