Power cable for inverters and controllers
This shielded PVC cable, designated TOPFLEX® 600-C-PVC, is a reliable solution for powering devices requiring high resistance to electromagnetic interference. Designed for use in control electronics, frequency inverters and connecting DNC motors, it is suitable for both fixed and flexible installations. The cable is suitable for operation in various conditions – from dry to wet and damp rooms.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. It is made of high-quality materials: copper conductors, PVC insulation and a shielding braid of copper wires (approx. 85% coverage). The conductors are black with white numbering according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification during installation. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective conductor increases safety. The outer jacket made of PVC is oil-resistant and chemically resistant, ensuring durability in harsh industrial conditions.
Application and parameters
The TOPFLEX® 600-C-PVC 4G25 mm² cable with an outer diameter of 31.7 mm is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 1000 V. Thanks to the conductor class 5 (multi-strand flexible), it provides flexibility and ease of installation. It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0293 and 0295 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive. High radiation resistance (up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg) allows the cable to be used in environments exposed to electromagnetic radiation.
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): The shielding braid minimizes interference, which is crucial in applications related to control electronics. For optimal EMC, it is recommended to ensure good contact of the braid with the terminals (e.g. using cable glands).
- Flexibility: The multi-strand conductor construction makes it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
