Construction and properties

The JB-500 cable consists of 16 stranded copper cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², providing good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225) and colored according to the JB/OB color code for easy identification. The protective core (green-yellow) is located close to the outer jacket, increasing safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC (TM2), resistant to oils and chemicals. The outer diameter of the cable is 13.9 mm.

This cable is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C (flexible), making it suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 and has a CE certificate, confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
