Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing its long-lasting operation. Copper cores, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards, are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides additional protection against mechanical damage and chemical influences. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to identify the cable in the installation. The cable is metered, allowing for precise adjustment of the length to your needs. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. Application and operating parameters

The JB-500 20G1.5 cable is used under medium mechanical load in flexible connections without tensile stress. It will work well in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors), in mechanical engineering, metallurgy and air conditioning systems. It is ideal for control, signaling and measurement in conveyors and technological lines. The protective conductor located close to the outer jacket increases safety. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11.

This cable is characterized by the following parameters: operating temperature range is from -15°C to +80°C flexible and from -40°C to +80°C stationary; operating voltage is U0/U 300/500 V; test voltage is 4000 V; insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km; minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation; outer diameter is approximately 15.6 mm; and core cross-section is 1.5 mm².

The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 (equivalent to DIN VDE 0472 part 804 test method B), which confirms its high level of safety. The product has a CE certificate – it complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
