This 20-core flexible cable JB-500 with a voltage of 500V is a versatile solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, air conditioning, and control, signaling and measurement systems. Thanks to its construction with twisted copper cores and PVC insulation, it ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions.

Construction and properties

The JB-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for long-term operation. Copper cores, made in class 5 (flexible stranded), provide good conductivity and flexibility. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation guarantees resistance to moisture and mechanical damage. Colored cores make it easier to identify individual wires during installation and servicing. In addition, the outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides protection against external factors. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 standards, which confirms its high quality and safety.

• Flexibility: The construction with stranded cores provides high cable flexibility, making it easier to lay in tight spaces and dynamic applications.
• Resistance: Materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, and the PVC coating is resistant to oils and chemicals – increasing the cable's durability in demanding industrial environments.
• Safety: The cable has been tested for flammability and self-extinguishing according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 standards, ensuring a high level of safety.

• Temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary operation) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible operation).

The JB-500 cable is metered, allowing for precise adjustment of the length to the needs of a specific application. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.8 mm, and the cross-section of a single core is 1 mm². The cable is intended for laying in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors) and is characterized by a minimum bending radius of 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation.
