This black, flexible OZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 2x0.5 mm² is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on twisted copper strands, providing good flexibility and durability. The strands are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the entire cable is surrounded by a PVC TM2 (RAL 9005) jacket, which provides resistance to abrasion, oils and chemical compounds. The cable strands are marked with numbers, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation.

Applications and operating parameters

The OZ-500 cable is perfect for applications requiring medium mechanical stress, such as flexible connections inside machines and devices. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors - provided it is protected from direct contact with the ground and water. This is particularly useful in mechanical industry for control, signaling and measurement on production lines and conveyor belts.

The cable operates at a rated voltage of 500 V in a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). Its strand cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the outer diameter is 5.4 mm. The cable is UV resistant and meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The minimum bending radius is 4 x Ø cable (stationary) and 7.5 x Ø cable (flexible).

The cable meets the requirements for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1. This ensures additional safety of the installation.
