Flexible cable for universal applications

This multi-strand flexible cable from TRONIC is the ideal solution for connections in electrical installations where high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. The cable is characterized by high quality workmanship and is designed for use in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors). Thanks to its construction with 30 copper strands, the cable is perfect for use in mechanical, electronic, computer and control systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0812. Its construction is based on twisted copper strands, which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Each strand is insulated with special PVC (TI2), and the whole is surrounded by a PVC (TM2) jacket in gray (RAL 7001). The strands are marked with colors according to DIN 47100, which facilitates identification during installation. The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to your needs.

Additionally, the cable exhibits resistance to oils and chemicals (detailed information in the "Technical information" table). The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The PVC jacket is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, which increases safety.

Parameters and scope of applications

The cable has a rated voltage of 500V and a strand cross-section of 0.25 mm². Thanks to flexibility class 5, the cable is particularly well suited for dynamic applications. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to +80°C during flexible operation and from -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.3 mm. It should be noted that the cable is not intended for high-current applications.
