Flat cable for industrial and special applications
This black, flat PVC-PŁASKI 16G1 H07VVH6-F cable is a reliable solution for powering devices requiring flexibility and resistance to harsh conditions. Made from high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), this cable is designed for use in conveyor systems, elevators, cranes, and in the machinery industry. Its construction ensures easy installation and laying, as well as a minimum bending radius, making work easier in tight spaces.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of 16 stranded copper conductors insulated with PVC. These conductors are arranged in parallel, providing flexibility and ease of unwinding from the reel. Additionally, the cable has a GN-YE (green-yellow) protective conductor, increasing safety. The outer sheath made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to oils and chemicals – which is particularly important in industrial environments. The exceptional flexibility of the cable allows it to be laid in layers and minimizes the need for large bending radii. The cable meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire propagation resistance.
Application and installation
This cable is ideal for applications where high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. It is particularly recommended for use in conveyor systems, elevators, cranes, and in the machinery industry. During installation, remember a few important rules: reels with the cable should be transported in an upright position with a collar. When unwinding the cables, it is recommended to start with a smaller cross-section and lay them in layers, ensuring a symmetrical load distribution. It is also necessary to take into account the lower strength of cables with a cross-section below 2.5 mm² when performing load calculations. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500V (300/500V for cross-sections up to 1mm²).
