Cable for cable chains – flexibility and durability in every movement
This metered S.TR-PVC 2x0.34 cable is the ideal solution for dynamic applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress. Designed for use in cable trays, robotics and moving machine parts, it provides a reliable connection in harsh industrial conditions. Made from high-quality materials, it guarantees long life and efficiency.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a special construction that provides exceptional flexibility. It uses a stranded multi-wire copper conductor (class 6) twisted into a rope, which translates to high resistance to bending and twisting. PVC TI2 insulation and TM2 outer jacket provide protection against external factors such as moisture, oils and chemicals. The cores are colored according to DIN VDE 47100 standard, which facilitates identification during installation. The whole is wrapped with a textile tape for additional mechanical protection.
This cable has been tested for fire resistance (IEC 60332-1-2) and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.
User parameters and scope of application
The S.TR-PVC 2x0.34 cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -5°C to +70°C (flexible) and -40°C to +70°C (stationary). The rated voltage is 350V, and the test voltage is 1500V. The minimum bending radius is 5x cable diameter for flexible operation and 3x diameter for fixed installation. Resistance to UV radiation is up to 100 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
Thanks to its properties, this cable finds application in:
- Mechanical industry
- Robotics
- Moving parts of machines
- Cable trays
- Applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress
- Where good chemical and oil resistance is needed
Pay attention to the approximate outer diameter of the cable, which is 4.6 mm, and the core cross-section of 0.34 mm². Also, be sure to read the instructions before using the cable in cable guides and cable tables for cable guides for detailed technical data.
