The HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO 24x2,5 cable is an advanced solution designed for power and control installations where safety, reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are crucial. The cable construction, compliant with IEC 60502, ensures minimal flame propagation and limited emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – a feature particularly important in public and industrial buildings.

Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The cable consists of 24 multi-strand copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with high-quality XLPE material. The cores are identified according to HD 308 S2, which facilitates installation and servicing. The inner and outer sheaths made of hydrocarbon-resistant PVC guarantee protection against chemical and mechanical factors. Additionally, the cable is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The cable's flexibility allows for easy routing of installations even in tight spaces.

Applications and compliance with standards

HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is ideal for use in civil and industrial environments, both in stationary installations and for direct burial in the ground. It meets the requirements of RVFV and BS 6346 standards. The cable has passed tests confirming its properties related to fire resistance (IEC 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-22) and low halogen content (DIN VDE 0482-754-1 / DIN EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1). The operating voltage of the cable is 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is 3500 V AC or 8400 V DC. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 12 x cable diameter. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, ensuring safe operation of the installation.
