The HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO cable is a versatile solution for power supply and control, designed for demanding industrial and civil applications. It provides safe and efficient power transmission, meeting stringent European standards. The cable's construction, based on high-quality materials, guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and Properties – The Key to Durability
This cable stands out with its advanced construction. Multi-strand copper conductors, class 2 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Insulation made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) guarantees high dielectric and thermal resistance. Additionally, the inner and outer sheaths made of hydrocarbon-resistant PVC protect the cable from aggressive chemical substances. It is worth noting that the cable is low smoke and halogen-free (LSLH), which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke.
The cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures: from -20°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The maximum temperature during a short circuit is 250°C. The minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 12 times the cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, ensuring high connection quality and minimizing energy losses.
Application and Standards Compliance
HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is ideal for use in civil and industrial environments, both in fixed installations and for direct burial in the ground. Thanks to its UV resistance, it can also be used outdoors. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60502 and is compliant with RVFV or BS 6346. It has a CE mark confirming compliance with LVD directive 2014/35/EU. Additionally, it has passed tests confirming resistance to vertical flame propagation (cat. A and C) and low halogen content.
