Construction and properties ensuring safety

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees high resistance to external factors and ensures safe operation in difficult conditions. Multi-strand copper conductors class 2, insulated with XLPE material, provide good flexibility and reliable connections. An additional inner PVC coating and an outer PVC coating resistant to hydrocarbons increase resistance to mechanical damage, chemicals and UV radiation. The cable meets the LSLH (Low Smoke Low Halogen) standard, which means limited emission of toxic gases during a fire – important for the safety of people and property.

Application and operating parameters

HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is designed for use in circuits with a voltage of 0.6/1 kV. It can be used in both fixed installations (temperature range from -20°C to +90°C) and flexible installations (from -5°C to +50°C). Thanks to the possibility of direct burial in the ground, the cable is used in outdoor installations. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 12 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, ensuring high insulation quality and minimizing the risk of breakdown. The cable has passed tests confirming its resistance to vertical flame propagation (cat. A, C) and low halogen content. Compliance with RVFV or BS 6346 standards confirms its versatility and possibility of use in various installation systems.
