Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures long-term and safe operation. Made of multi-wire copper conductor class 2 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) and insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), it guarantees high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. An additional inner and outer coating made of hydrocarbon-resistant PVC provides protection against chemical factors and environmental influences. The cable has a black outer coating, which facilitates identification.

It is worth noting the LSLH (Low Smoke Low Halogen) properties – i.e. reduced emission of smoke and toxic gases during combustion. This is important for safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the risk to health and life. In addition, the cable is UV-resistant, allowing it to be used in outdoor installations without fear of material degradation. It meets the requirements of RVFV or BS 6346 standards.

Application and operating parameters

HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is designed for use in both stationary and flexible installations – in the temperature range from -20°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). It can be buried directly in the ground, which increases its versatility. The cable operating voltage is 0.6/1 kV, and the test voltage is 3500 V AC or 8400 V DC – confirming its high quality and reliability. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 12 times the cable diameter, which facilitates installation. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, providing effective protection against short circuits.
