The HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO 3x4 cable is an advanced solution for power transmission, designed with safety and reliability in mind. It meets IEC 60502 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and compliance with European standards. This cable is particularly recommended where limiting the emission of harmful substances in the event of a fire is crucial – thanks to LSLH (Low Smoke Low Halogen) technology, it minimizes the release of toxic gases and smoke.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable is constructed with multi-wire copper conductors class 2 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The insulation made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) guarantees high dielectric strength and temperature resistance. An additional inner PVC coating and an outer coating of hydrocarbon-resistant PVC protect the cable from external factors such as oils, greases, and UV radiation. This makes the cable perfectly suited for both indoor and outdoor installations, including direct burial in the ground.
Application and compliance with standards
HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is designed for use in civil and industrial environments. It can be used as a power and control cable in fixed and flexible installations. Its UV resistance allows it to be used outdoors without fear of material degradation. The cable meets the requirements of LVD 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and RVFV or BS 6346, confirming its safety and compliance with regulations. Additionally, it has certificates regarding flame propagation resistance – cat. C (20 min) and cat. A (40 min) – which increases the level of safety in the event of a fire. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, ensuring effective protection against short circuits and leakage currents. The cable's operating voltage is 0/U 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is 3500 V AC and 8400 V DC, respectively.
