Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is constructed with multi-wire copper conductors of class 2, providing flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during operation. Insulation made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) guarantees high electrical and thermal strength. An additional inner PVC coating and an outer hydrocarbon-resistant PVC coating protect the cable from mechanical and chemical damage. This allows the cable to be used even in an aggressive industrial environment, as well as directly buried in the ground.

An important aspect is also compliance with LSLH (Low Smoke Low Halogen) standards, which means that in the event of a fire, the cable emits a minimal amount of toxic gases and smoke, increasing the safety of people nearby. In addition, the cable is UV-resistant, allowing it to be used outdoors without fear of material degradation. Tests confirm its resistance to vertical flame propagation – both of individual conductors and cable bundles – meeting the stringent requirements of DIN VDE and IEC standards.

The operating voltage of the cable is 0/U 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is 3500 V AC for 5 minutes or 8400 V DC for 5 minutes. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, providing effective protection against short circuits. The minimum bending radius for permanent laying is 12 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
