This HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO 4x240 cable is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable conductor for power and control. Designed with safety and durability in mind, it meets strict European standards and ensures long-term operation in various conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Copper conductors, made in class 2 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228, guarantee good conductivity. XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation provides high electrical and thermal resistance. An additional inner PVC coating and an outer PVC coating resistant to hydrocarbons protect the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, and the effects of oils and fuels. The cable is black, which makes it easier to identify in installations.
It is worth noting a number of certificates and tests confirming its safety: resistance to vertical flame propagation (classes A and C), low halogen acid emission, and UV resistance. Thanks to this, the cable can be used both indoors and outdoors, including direct burial in the ground. It also meets the requirements of RVFV or BS 6346 standards and has the CE marking, confirming compliance with LVD Directive 2014/35/EU.
Application and operating parameters
HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is designed for use in civil and industrial environments. It is perfect for powering machines, electrical equipment and control systems. Its flexibility allows for easy installation even in hard-to-reach places. The cable is adapted to work in a wide temperature range: from -5°C to +50°C (flexible) and from -20°C to +90°C (stationary). The maximum temperature during a short circuit is 250°C. The operating voltage is 0/U 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is 3500 V AC or 8400 V DC. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 12 times the cable diameter. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, guaranteeing high insulation quality.
