The HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO 4x25 cable is an advanced solution for transmitting power and control signals, designed for safety and reliability. It meets the LSLH (Low Smoke Low Halogen) standard, which means that in the event of a fire, it emits minimal amounts of toxic gases and smoke – important for both installers and end users. This cable is ideal for use in civil and industrial construction, as well as for direct burial in the ground.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable is characterized by a solid construction: copper multi-wire conductors class 2 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) provide good flexibility and conductivity. The insulation made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) guarantees high resistance to mechanical and electrical damage. An additional inner PVC coating and an outer PVC coating resistant to hydrocarbons increase protection against external factors. It is worth noting the resistance to UV radiation, which allows the cable to be used in outdoor installations without fear of material degradation.
Safety and compliance with standards
HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO has passed a series of tests confirming its safety and compliance with applicable standards. It meets the requirements of IEC 60502 and also has a CE certificate (compliance with LVD Directive 2014/35/EU). The cable is resistant to vertical flame propagation (classifications cat. C and A depending on the test) and is characterized by a low halogen acid content, which further increases the level of fire safety. The possibility of direct burial in the ground is another advantage that simplifies installation and reduces costs. The operating voltage of the cable is 0/U 0.6/1 kV, and the test voltage is 3500 V AC or 8400 V DC – this ensures safe and reliable operation in various conditions. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, which guarantees effective protection against current leakage. The minimum bending radius for fixed laying is 12 x cable diameter. The operating temperature range is flexibly from -5°C to +50°C and stationary from -20°C to +90°C, which allows the cable to be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures. The maximum temperature during a short circuit is 250°C.
