Construction and properties ensuring safety

The cable is constructed of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with XLPE material. The use of this technology guarantees high flexibility and connection durability. The outer sheath made of hydrocarbon-resistant PVC protects the cable from mechanical damage and the influence of aggressive chemicals. Importantly, the cable meets the standards for low flammability and emission of toxic gases during a fire (LSLH – Low Smoke Low Halogen), which increases safety. It meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 (cat. C) standards, confirming its fire-resistant properties.

HELUPOWER 1000 HY-CARBO is ideal for applications requiring high reliability and safety. It can be used in both stationary installations and for direct burial in the ground. Thanks to its UV resistance, it performs perfectly in outdoor installations. The cable complies with RVFV and BS 6346 standards and also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the LVD 2014/35/EU directive. The operating voltage of the cable is 0.6/1 kV, and the operating temperature is in the range of -20°C to +90°C (stationary) and -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ x km, providing effective protection against short circuits.
