Rubber cable NSSHÖU 5G6 mm² yellow, core identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 38031
Cable for demanding applications
This yellow rubber cable NSSHÖU 5G6 mm² is a solid solution for powering high-power devices in harsh conditions. Designed for both fixed and mobile installations, it is suitable for construction, mechanical engineering and anywhere devices operate outdoors. Its construction and materials guarantee high mechanical and moisture resistance, making it an ideal choice for outdoor applications.
Construction and properties
The NSSHÖU cable is characterized by an advanced construction ensuring reliability and durability. Twisted copper conductors, made in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards, guarantee good conductivity. EPR rubber insulation (3GI3) provides flexibility and ozone resistance, minimizing the risk of cracking. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (above 3 conductors) for increased safety. Inner (GM1b) and outer (5GM5) jackets made of rubber provide additional protection against external factors. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0294-308 - colored up to 5 conductors, and above 6 conductors - black with white numbering.
Application and parameters
The NSSHÖU cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: flexibly from -25°C to +80°C and stationary from -40°C to +80°C, with an allowable conductor operating temperature of up to +90°C. It has a nominal voltage Uo/U 0.6/1 kV and a maximum working voltage for alternating current Uo/U 0.7/1.2 kV and for direct current Uo/U 0.9/1.8 kV. Insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km and long-term load is total cross-section x 15 N/mm². Minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for fixed installations, 10x for flexible and 15x for freely moving. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 812 and passed fire behavior tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1. It is also oil-resistant according to DIN EN 60811-404.
