This flexible H05RR-F 5G2.5 mm² power cable with a black rubber jacket is a robust solution for both professional installers and end-users. Construction and properties

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21, DIN EN 50525-2-21 and IEC 60245-4, confirming its high quality and compliance with European standards. Made of stranded copper wire (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), insulated with rubber EI4 (DIN VDE 0207-363-1 / DIN EN 50363-1), it provides good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are arranged longitudinally and marked with colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates identification during installation. The black outer jacket made of rubber EM3 (RR-F) or EM2 (RN-F) protects the cable against mechanical damage, ozone, oils and fats.

The cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures from -30°C to +60°C and an allowable conductor temperature of +60°C. The operating voltage is 300/500 V, and the maximum working voltage for alternating current is U0/U 318/550 V, and for direct current U0/U 413/825 V. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates laying even in tight spaces. The cable has passed fire behavior tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.

Applications

The H05RR-F cable is ideal for connecting electrical devices requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. It will work well in homes, offices, industry (including sewing workshops), agriculture and with commercial power tools. It can be used to power vacuum cleaners, soldering irons, kitchen appliances, toasters, ovens and other household appliances. It is approved for short-term outdoor use and in hazardous areas. The RN-F cable is also suitable for operation in humid environments and in contact with oils and fats – e.g. in deep fryers. It is also suitable for permanent installations in partition walls, furniture and decorations.
