This black SOLARFLEX-X H1Z2Z2-K NTS 1x6 cable is an ideal solution for photovoltaic installations, both those implemented by professionals and by individuals self-installing PV systems. The cable is designed for long-term and safe operation in demanding outdoor conditions. Its construction provides resistance to UV radiation, ozone and extreme temperatures, which translates to trouble-free operation and minimizes the risk of downtime.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a tinned copper wire, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228. The core is insulated with cross-linked polyolefin in black color, and additionally protected by an outer coating of the same material. A key element increasing safety and durability is a single braid of V2A stainless steel, which protects against mechanical damage, including rodents. Thanks to the double insulation, the cable meets the requirements of protection class II.
The SOLARFLEX-X cable is resistant to UV radiation and ozone, guaranteeing its stability in changing weather conditions. It has also passed a series of tests confirming its flame-retardant properties (IEC 60332-1-2), low smoke density (IEC 61034) and halogen-free properties (EN 50267, IEC 60754). It also meets the EN 50289-4-17 standard regarding resistance to atmospheric factors and EN 50396 in the field of ozone resistance.
Application and operating parameters
The cable is intended for use in photovoltaic systems as a connecting element between solar modules and the rest of the installation. It can be used in both outdoor and indoor installations. Its operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C, and the maximum core temperature during operation is +120°C. The nominal AC voltage is 1.0/1.0 kV and DC 1.5/1.5 kV. The minimum bending radius in stationary laying is 5x the cable diameter. It has approvals EN 50618: TÜV 2PfG 190/05.12 and TÜV R60115689, confirming its compliance with European safety and quality standards. The product is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
