High-temperature cable for demanding applications

This single-core cable with FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation is a solution for installations exposed to extreme conditions. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and radiation, making it an ideal choice for harsh industrial environments and specialized applications. The cable is particularly recommended for building switchgear cabinets, furnaces, heating devices, and in the chemical industry, where absolute resistance to aggressive substances is required.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for reliability and durability. Made of silver-plated copper, it provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP insulation guarantees a wide range of operating temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). Additionally, the cable meets high safety standards and has non-flammable properties and resistance to microbial growth.

Applications and parameters

The rated voltage of 600 V and the conductor cross-section of 0.25 mm² make it suitable for various electrical installations. The minimum bending radius (10x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x for stationary bending) facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable meets DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, and IEC 60332-1 standards, confirming its safety and quality of workmanship.
