This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. The cable is characterized by FEP fluoropolymer insulation, making it an ideal choice for installations in furnaces, heating devices, the chemical industry, and anywhere standard cables fail. The silver-plated copper core ensures excellent conductivity and connection durability.
Construction and properties for professionals
The cable is designed for demanding applications. The construction based on a stranded copper wire (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228) guarantees flexibility and reliability. HELUFLON® FEP insulation provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. Additionally, the material is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms and completely waterproof. The insulation resistance is minimum 2 GOhm/km, confirming the high quality of workmanship. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x for stationary bending.
