Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x2.5 mm² red, conductor: silver-plated copper 20322
Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions.
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Made of silver-plated copper with FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it provides reliable performance even in the most demanding environments. This cable is ideal for both professional installers and end-users who need a durable and safe solution.
Construction and properties
The cable features a flexible construction with a stranded core (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228). FEP-HELUFLON® insulation provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. In addition, this material is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms and fungi, and completely waterproof. The silver-plated copper core increases corrosion resistance and ensures excellent conductivity.
The cable has a rated voltage of 600V and a core cross-section of 2.5 mm², making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.8 mm. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km, guaranteeing high-quality electrical insulation. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x the cable diameter for stationary bending.
Applications and benefits
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is used in installations and construction of control cabinet distribution systems operating in extreme thermal conditions – furnaces, brickworks, heating and kitchen appliances. It will also be useful in the chemical industry, where resistance to aggressive chemicals is required. Thanks to its properties, it is perfectly suited for use in difficult industrial conditions and everywhere else where standard cables fail.
- Exceptional thermal resistance: Continuous operation up to +205°C (briefly up to +230°C) allows use in high-temperature generating devices.
- Chemical resistance: Trouble-free operation in an environment of aggressive chemicals – acids, bases, oils or gasoline.
- High insulation quality: Ensures safe use and minimizes the risk of short circuits or electrical breakdowns.
- Durability and reliability: Silver-plated copper core and high-quality FEP insulation guarantee a long cable life.
- Versatility: Wide range of applications – from industrial installations to household appliances.
