Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x4 mm² different color, conductor: tinned copper 25588
Single-core FEP wire – reliability in extreme conditions
This specialized wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation is a solution for demanding applications where standard wires fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions. Ideal for both industrial installations and the construction of switchgear cabinets.
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire has been designed with reliability and durability in mind. Its construction based on a stranded copper core (class 5 – flexible multi-strand) provides flexibility and ease of installation. The FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees resistance to a wide range of temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). This makes the wire perfect for use in furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, and the chemical industry.
Strength and safety in every detail
This wire is distinguished not only by its thermal resistance but also by its chemical resistance. It is completely resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, food products, oils, and gasoline. In addition, the materials used in its production are silicone and cadmium-free, ensuring safe use and no impact on painting processes. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
- Wide temperature range: Continuous operation from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) allows for use in extreme conditions.
- Exceptional chemical resistance: No worries about the effects of aggressive substances – ideal for the chemical industry and laboratories.
- High insulation: Ensures safe use and minimizes the risk of short circuits.
- Flexible construction: Stranded core facilitates installation and routing of wires in tight spaces.
- Radiation resistance: Enables use in environments exposed to radiation.
- Low dielectric losses: Ensure efficient energy transmission.
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire with a cross-section of 4 mm² and a rated voltage of 600V (both U and U0) with an approximate outer diameter of 3.4 mm is an investment in the long-term and trouble-free operation of electrical installations in demanding conditions. Available in various colors (the color code must be added to the catalog number), which facilitates the identification of wires in the installation.
