This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures – both continuous and short-term – making it an ideal choice for furnaces, heating devices, industrial installations, and in chemical environments. This cable is particularly valued for its reliability in places exposed to aggressive substances such as alkalis, acids, oils, and gasoline.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of silver-plated copper, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP (HELUFLON®) fluoropolymer insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), but also chemical and mechanical resistance. The flexible multi-strand wire of class 5 provides flexibility and easy installation, even in tight spaces. The rated voltage U0/U is 600V.

• Safety: Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, meeting the standards DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
• Radiation resistance: The cable retains its properties even under the influence of radiation up to 1 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
