High-temperature cable for demanding applications
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed to operate in extreme conditions where standard cables fail. Made of silver-plated copper and FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it provides reliable operation at high temperatures and in aggressive chemical environments. This cable is used in both industrial installations and in the construction of control cabinet distribution systems.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a flexible stranded construction (class 5), which facilitates installation and routing. FEP insulation provides exceptional resistance to:
- high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C),
- low temperatures (down to -100°C),
- aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline, food products,
- flames – meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard for fire resistance,
- UV radiation.
Additionally, the cable is flame retardant, waterproof and resistant to the development of microorganisms and fungi. The materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km.

Thanks to the use of silver-plated copper, the core is characterized by high conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable meets the requirements of the CE standard and is compliant with the low voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4x cable diameter for stationary bending. The rated operating voltage is 600V and the test voltage is 2500V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.4 mm with a core cross-section of 4 mm².
