Single-core PVC cable H05V-K 1x0.5 mm² dark blue 26449
Single-core PVC cable – a reliable choice for various applications
This dark blue H05V-K single-core PVC cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a versatile solution for electrical installations. It features a flexible, stranded core, making it easy to route and connect. The cable is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing good insulation and durability.
Construction and properties
This cable consists of a single, annealed copper core twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards. The insulation is made of special PVC YI3, meeting the requirements of DIN VDE 0812. This makes the cable resistant to mechanical damage and ensures safe current conduction. It should be noted that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
The cable is characterized by a rated voltage U0 of 500 V and a rated voltage U of 300 V. It can be used at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +70°C in flexible mode. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
Application and safety
These types of cables are widely used in electrical engineering, both in DC installations and inside control cabinets, switchgear and automation devices. They meet the requirements of VDE 0800 part 1 for temperatures up to +70°C. Important: The cable is not intended for high-current installations or outdoor use. It has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU and has passed self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 (method B). The insulation resistance is minimum 10 MOhm x km.
