Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

The wire is manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3 standards, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use. PVC TI1 insulation provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The copper core of class 5 (DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360, IEC 60288) ensures good flexibility and ease of installation. The wire is available in yellow-green color, which facilitates identification as a protective conductor (PE). Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and parameters – everything you need to know

The H05V-U wire with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is designed to operate at a rated voltage of up to 500 V (U) and 300 V (U0). It can be used at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8mm it is ≤ 8mm, for a diameter of 8-12mm: 5 x Ø cable and above 12mm: 6 x Ø cable. Resistance to radiation is up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad). The wire has a self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC insulation, tested in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 standards. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 2.25 mm. Available in a package of 100m length.
