Single-core PVC cable H05V-U 1x1 mm² brown, box 28780

Universal installation cable for various applications

This brown single-core H05V-U cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a reliable solution for wiring in electrical installations. It will work both in newly built facilities and during renovations. The cable is designed for laying in pipes, under plaster or in closed cable ducts, which gives great freedom during installation.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of a single-wire copper core, which ensures good flexibility and ease of routing. PVC insulation guarantees safe use and resistance to mechanical damage. The rated voltage of 300/500 V allows for wide use in electrical installations. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3, which confirms its high quality and compliance with European standards.

• Flexibility: Single-wire core makes it easy to route cables even in tight spaces.
• Safety: PVC insulation protects against electric shock and ensures durability.
• Wide application: Can be used in various types of installations – from wiring devices to lighting.
• Resistance to weather conditions: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible).
• Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of European safety standards.
• Insulation resistance: Minimum 10 MOhm x km – guarantees good insulation and safe use.

Practical information for installers and users

The H05V-U cable is ideal for applications where flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. It can be used indoors, in dry and damp rooms (but not underwater). The minimum bending radius is ≤ 8mm for cables with a diameter below 8mm, and larger accordingly, which makes it easier to lay the cables without the risk of damage. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting, making it safe for the environment and health. The box facilitates storage and transport of the cable on the construction site or in the workshop.
