Single-core PVC cable H07V-U 1x1.5 mm² yellow-green, box 28786

Universal installation cable for various applications

The single-core H07V-U cable is a reliable element of electrical installations, finding application in both residential and industrial construction. It is characterized by flexibility and ease of installation, which will be appreciated by both professional installers and people performing electrical work themselves. Made of copper, covered with PVC insulation, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation.

Construction and user parameters

This cable has a single class 1 (solid) core with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², making it ideal for wiring lighting, sockets and electrical devices with medium power consumption. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 750 V (U) and 300 V (U0). Its outer diameter is approximately 3 mm, which facilitates routing in pipes and cable ducts.

Applications and compliance with standards

The H07V-U cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3 standards. It can be used for laying in installation pipes, under plaster and in closed cable trays. It should be remembered that it must not be laid directly in gutters or on open ladders. It is an excellent choice for wiring devices, switchboards and lighting with a working voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC to earth. The yellow-green core is intended for use as a protective conductor (PE).
