Single-core cable for outdoor applications

The LgY-UV cable is a flexible single-core cable designed for electrical installations outdoors. It is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation, which ensures its durability and reliability in harsh weather conditions. It is particularly recommended for grounding connections of electrical devices operating in open spaces.

The cable is made of copper, which guarantees good electrical conductivity and minimizes energy losses. The flexible stranded wire class 5 makes installation easier and provides flexibility in cable routing. PVC insulation provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The yellow-green color is used to identify the cable as an earthing conductor.

The LgY-UV cable has been designed with demanding applications in mind. Its construction and technical parameters ensure safe and efficient operation in various conditions:

• UV resistance: high resistance to UV radiation protects the insulation from degradation, extending the cable's life.
• Flame retardancy: meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard, which increases the safety of the installation in the event of a fire.
• Outer diameter: approximately 10.8 mm – makes it easier to route cables in different spaces.

The LgY-UV cable complies with EN 50525-2-31/PN-EN 50525-2-31 standards, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. It does not contain halogens, which is important from the point of view of environmental protection and human health. However, it should not be laid directly in gutters, ladders or cable trays.
