This exceptionally flexible single-core cable, with a cross-section of 70 mm², is the ideal solution where standard cables fail. Construction and application

The LIFY cable has been designed with a wide range of applications in mind. Its construction is based on a multi-strand, very flexible copper core, which ensures excellent flexibility and facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions.

The cable is primarily used:

• in the construction of control cabinets, where frequent bending and movement of cables are unavoidable;
• in measuring systems in laboratories, requiring precision and reliability;
• in machines and equipment exposed to vibrations;
• in temporary and portable installations.

Parameters and safety

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1 standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V for cross-sections up to 1 mm² and 450/750 V for larger cross-sections (including 70 mm²). The rated core cross-section is 70 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 16 mm. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) and -15°C to +80°C (stationary). It meets the requirements for flame propagation resistance according to IEC 60332-1-2.
