Universal cable for many applications

This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 0.5/AWG22, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for both export installations and machine tools, distribution boards and electrical devices. Its construction and approvals make it an economical choice for installers, and its high quality ensures safety and reliability.

Construction and parameters

The cable is characterized by a flexible, stranded core of class 5, which facilitates installation and connection. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation provides good mechanical and electrical protection. The cable is available in white-blue color, which facilitates identification in the installation. Its cross-section of 0.5 mm² is suitable for applications requiring lower current. The rated voltage U0/U is 600V / 500V respectively. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.7 mm.

Compliance with standards and wide approvals

This is one of the few cables on the market that meets as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (as well as Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It also has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals – which significantly simplifies inventory management and project documentation. The cable has passed flame propagation tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2 and UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The operating temperature range of the cable is from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly from +5°C), and in the case of UL (AWM) approvals even up to +105°C.
