Universal connection cable with multiple approvals

This black, single-core H05V2-K cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² / AWG22 is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Designed for a wide range of applications – from export and machine tools to distribution boards and electrical devices – it meets the requirements of five different standards, simplifying inventory management and documentation. This allows installers and end-users to rely on a product that will perform in many situations.

Flexibility and operating temperature range

The cable is characterized by flexibility in the temperature range of +5°C to +90°C for stationary operation and from -40°C to +90°C for UL (MTW) and CSA (TEW) applications. UL (AWM) allows operation up to +105°C. This range makes it a reliable choice even in harsh environmental conditions. Made of un-tinned, stranded copper class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) ensures good conductivity and durable connections.

Safety and compliance with standards

Insulation made of special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H) guarantees safe use. The cable has passed tests for vertical flame propagation (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1, CSA FT1). It also meets the requirements of the LVD directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The test voltage is 2000V, and for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm² even 6kV. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter up to 8mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8mm – respectively 5x or 6x the cable diameter. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting.
