Universal connection cable with multiple approvals

This single-core H05V2-K cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and a voltage of 300/500V is a versatile solution for internal wiring of electrical devices and distribution boards. Its construction and materials have been selected for reliability and durability, and compliance with five standards (HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, CSA-Equipment-wire) makes it an ideal choice for export applications and in demanding industries such as metalworking. The cable is particularly valued for simplifying the bill of materials thanks to its wide range of approvals.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor of class 5, providing good bendability and facilitating installation. The insulation is made of special TI3 type PVC, guaranteeing high resistance to abrasion and external factors. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that hinder painting. This allows the cable to be used in environments where these factors are critical. In addition, the cable meets the requirements for flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1, CSA FT1).

Scope of application and operating parameters

This cable performs perfectly in applications requiring flexibility and reliability. It can be used in a temperature range from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in some cases even up to +105°C (UL AWM). The test voltage is 2000V, and the minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter of up to 8 mm it is 4xØ cable, above 8 mm – 5xØ cable, and above 12 mm – 6xØ cable. The cable color scheme includes a wide selection of solid colors and two-color combinations. Transparent color is only available for marking 05V2-K.
