Construction and properties
The cable is made of multi-strand copper wire class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758), providing flexibility and good conductivity. The PVC insulation type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581) is characterized by high mechanical and electrical resistance. The cable color is dark blue-orange, which facilitates identification in the installation. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL approvals even up to +105°C (AWM) or +90°C (MTW). The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²) and the test voltage is 2000V (depending on the cross-section). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4x to 6x the diameter.
