Universal cable for wide applications

This single-core PVC cable, compliant with UL/CSA and European DIN VDE and EN standards, is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. Designed for internal wiring, it is suitable for distribution boards, electrical equipment and machine tools. Its construction based on a copper core and PVC insulation ensures reliability and safety of use.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides flexibility and durability. The multi-wire copper core of class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) guarantees good conductivity, and the special PVC insulation of type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3) ensures resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL (AWM) approvals, even up to +105°C. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4xØ cable, above 8 mm – respectively 5xØ or 6xØ.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable stands out from the competition thanks to its compliance with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This makes it ideal for export applications and simplifies the parts management process.
