Universal connection cable for a wide range of applications

This single-core PVC cable, manufactured in accordance with numerous standards (DIN VDE, DIN EN, UL, CSA), is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. Designed for reliability and flexibility, it is perfect for internal wiring of distribution boards, electrical appliances, and machine tools. Its versatility stems from approvals to various standards, allowing for economical inventory management and simplified bill of materials.

Construction and properties

The cable features a multi-strand copper conductor, class 5, providing good flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation is made of special TI3 PVC, guaranteeing high resistance to abrasion and external factors. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (depending on the method of installation and standard). The rated voltage is 300/500 V (H05V2-K) or 450/750 V (H07V2-K), and the test voltage reaches 2000 V (5 kV or 6 kV depending on the cross-section). Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that hinder painting.

Applications and compliance with standards

This cable finds application in many areas – from wiring machines and equipment to installations in buildings. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31 and UL Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and 1015) and CSA-TEW/CSA-AWM I A/B. It also has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals. Flame propagation resistance is confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2/UL VW-1 and CSA FT1. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables up to 8 mm in diameter it is 4xØ cable, above 8 mm – 5xØ or 6xØ cable respectively. The cable is available in white-blue color and has the marking H05V2-K.
