Universal connection cable for wide application
This single-core PVC cable, designated FIVENORM H05V2-K, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for both export installations and demanding industrial applications, such as machine tools. Its construction and approvals allow for effective use in distribution boards and inside electrical devices. This cable is particularly valued by installers for simplifying the bill of materials thanks to its numerous certifications.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor of class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758), providing flexibility and reliable connections. The insulation is made of special TI3 PVC (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3, UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H) guaranteeing good mechanical and electrical protection. The cable is available in white-yellow color, which facilitates identification in the installation. It is worth emphasizing that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances hindering painting – this is important for maintaining the quality of coatings and environmental safety.
Application and compliance with standards
The cable meets the requirements of five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015), CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals – which significantly facilitates its use in various countries and industries. The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²), and the operating temperature range is flexibly from +5°C to +90°C and stationary from -40°C to +90°C (UL AWM: -40°C to +105°C; UL MTW: -40°C to +90°C; CSA TEW: -40°C to +105°C). The cable has passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4x to 6x the cable diameter.
