Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductor class 5, providing flexibility and good conductivity. TI3 type PVC insulation guarantees safety and durability. The cable is characterized by a working voltage of 300/500V (up to 1 mm²) and temperature resistance in the range of -40°C to +90°C for stationary operation and from +5°C to +90°C for flexible operation. Additionally, it has UL (AWM) approvals up to +105°C and CSA (TEW) up to +105°C. This makes it perform well in demanding working conditions.

Application and compliance with standards

The cable is used for internal wiring of distribution boards, machine tools and other electrical equipment. Its versatility results from a wide range of approvals: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and 1015), CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It also has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals, which simplifies inventory management and documentation. The cable has passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1. It is compliant with LVD Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
