Single-core PVC wire acc. to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20 dark blue-orange 11019356
Product Features
- High quality
- Complies with numerous standards
This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Its construction and approvals make it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable and universal cable. This cable is particularly valued in the machine tool industry, but it will also work in distribution boards and electrical devices.
Wide range of applications thanks to compliance with standards
A key feature of this cable is its compliance with no less than five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This means that one cable can meet the requirements of different markets and applications, simplifying logistics and reducing costs associated with maintaining multiple types of cables in stock. HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals allow for economical inventory management and simplification of the bill of materials.
Construction and parameters ensuring durability
The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 20) and a working voltage of 300/500V. It is made of a multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H). The outer diameter of the cable is 2.65 mm with a weight of approximately 0.0136 kg per meter. Flexible operation in the temperature range of +5°C to +90°C and the possibility of stationary operation in the range of -40°C to +90°C (and in the case of UL AWM approvals even up to +105°C and CSA TEW up to +105°C) guarantee reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter - for cables with a diameter below 8mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8mm to 12mm - 5x the cable diameter and above 12mm - 6x the cable diameter. In addition, the cable has passed flame propagation tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards.
