Single-core PVC wire acc. to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20 orange-white 11019367
Universal cable for many applications
This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 0.75/AWG20, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for both industrial installations and electrical devices. Its construction and approvals make it particularly useful in export applications, as well as in demanding environments such as machine tools. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage.
Meets stringent standards – savings and safety
The cable has been designed to comply with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such a wide range of approvals allows it to be used in different countries and industries without the need to use many different types of cables. This translates into simplified logistics and reduced storage costs. In addition, it has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals.
Key features and parameters
The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 20) and is made of a stranded copper conductor class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758. The insulation is made of special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H). The jacket color is a distinctive orange-white shade for easy identification. The cable is designed to operate at a voltage of 300/500V (up to 1 mm²) and has a test voltage ranging from 5kV (for diameter up to 0.5mm²) to 6kV (for diameter ≥ 0.75mm²). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.65 mm with a weight of approximately 0.0136 kg per meter. The operating temperature range is flexibly from +5°C to +90°C and stationary from -40°C to +90°C (UL AWM: -40°C to +105°C; UL MTW: -40°C to +90°C; CSA TEW: -40°C to +105°C). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter of less than or equal to 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, for cables between 8 and 12 mm – 5x the cable diameter and for cables over 12 mm – 6x the cable diameter.
