Wide application and compliance with standards

The wire is designed for internal wiring of distribution boards and electrical devices. Thanks to numerous approvals (HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, CSA-Equipment-wire) it simplifies the bill of materials and allows for economical storage. Meeting so many standards means that the wire can be used in a wide range of applications and in different countries. The operating voltage is 300/500V, and in UL (AWM) standards even 1000V AC or 1250V DC.

Construction and operational properties

The un-tinned, stranded copper conductor class 5 ensures flexibility and durability of the connection. The insulation made of PVC type TI3 guarantees resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. The wire maintains flexibility in the temperature range from +5°C to +90°C (stationary from -40°C to +90°C), and in UL and CSA standards even up to +105°C. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter of up to 8 mm it is 4xØ cable, above 8 mm respectively 5xØ or 6xØ cable. The wire has passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE, DIN EN, IEC and UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting.
