Compliance with standards and wide application
The cable stands out for its compliance with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and 1015) as well as CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Thanks to this, it can be used in a variety of applications – from wiring distribution boards to connections in machine tools. HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals allow for simplification of the bill of materials and reduction of storage costs.
Construction and user parameters
The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 20) and a working voltage of 300/500V. It is made of a stranded copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL Std. 1581). The flexibility of the cable is maintained over a wide temperature range: from +5°C to +90°C for stationary operation and from -40°C to +90°C for flexible operation (UL AWM up to +105°C, UL MTW up to +90°C, CSA TEW up to +105°C). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm – 5x or 6x the cable diameter, respectively. The cable has a yellow-red jacket color for easy identification. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. Additionally, the cable has passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2 as well as UL VW-1 and CSA FT1.
